The question that drives Nav is: How to bring technology and principles of good design to create solutions for the human-social systems that are in harmony with the natural order?
Our honorary #AsiaBerlin Ambassador Nav Qirti and his team at Ideactio led the process to design our new logo from ideation, conceptualization to the completion of the logo design. He specializes in innovation processes and design thinking. We are glad that Nav could combine his exemplary design thinking skills and passion for connecting startup ecosystems together in this project.
Nav is a regular speaker at the AsiaBerlin Summit (formerly Asia-Pacific Week) since 2017 and a bridge-builder between Singapore and Berlin. He is a great fan of the German capital and founded a daughter company here. Nav is also co-founder of an open innovation platform SharedMind which focuses on ventures on sustainability and social good.
“I think AsiaBerlin is a unique platform that leverages the “Power of Clusters” of Berlin and connects it with an ascendant Asia which is a playfield of opportunities. There is a tremendous opportunity for the AsiaBerlin community to champion ventures that focus on solutions for human-social systems that are in harmony with the natural order by bringing together technology and principles of good design”

AsiaBerlin Summit 2020: Panel : AI, Machine Learning and the Impact on our Daily Life
We’ve come a long way from Will Smith in I, Robot, or Bruce Willis in Surrogates when it comes to thinking about AI. It is no longer a scary topic happening in the far-off future where we land in a matrix of sorts, instead seeping into our lives and affecting how we live, work, and entertain ourselves. From voice-powered personal assistants like Siri and Alexa, to more underlying and fundamental technologies such as behavioral algorithms or autonomously-powered self-driving vehicles, there are several examples and applications of artificial intelligence in use today. This panel showcases where AI and Machine Learning are already being used, their impact on our daily lives, and where we could go from here. Watch the video here.
AsiaBerlin Summit 2019 : keynote: What kills Innovation
Innovation succeeds and ends in mind first before it takes any material form. From this lens innovation is essentially a mindset first and foremost. To nurture and cultivate innovative mindset in organizations it is imperative to understand what are the impediments in the way of innovation, and how we can overcome them. Such an approach to innovation is about ‘awareness’ and ‘action’ to unlock value. In this talk the speaker will share insights about innovation killers. Watch the video here.
