AsiaBerlin Expansion Lab

Expansion Lab is a program by AsiaBerlin and betahausX that helps Berlin-based startups, SMEs, investors, and research institutions enter high-potential Asian markets through structured preparation, curated ecosystem access, and partnerships built to last beyond the program itself.

Over three years, the program has supported 90+ startups and ecosystem players in building real connections across Asia. Cohorts have traveled to Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, India, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Shenzhen, opening doors to markets that are otherwise hard to access for European founders

Each batch combines virtual onboarding led by in-market experts with a high-value on-site trip, which includes a visit to a major tech event in the country of the active batch, making market entry focused and efficient
