Founder & CEO, WLounge Magda Group Mali is one of the people shaping the future of female founders and opportunities at the startup ecosystems in Berlin and other parts of Germany. Recently announced raising a new fund of funds, Magda Group FoF in Berlin with focusing on EU technology and diverse team, for building more success stories and uplifting the tech ecosystem in Europe and beyond, Mali has 20 years’ experience in founding companies. She started her first business in 2007 and followed this up with a global educational toy business, in Tel Aviv, which sold products in the US, Asia, Australia and across Europe. The products won numerous awards for innovation and design. Since 2020 she is a jury and expert advisor at European Commission, EIC. Mali was a finalist for the ‘Digital Female Leader Award’ for 2019. She is a regular speaker at conferences, a mentor and jury member of startup competitions, mentor at accelerators like Techstars, Berlin Partner Start Alliance, Founder Institute, Startupbootcamp. She is actively involved in governmental activities and Corporate’s M&A and VCs to promoting the local tech ecosystem globally and locally and pushing for more women in influential positions and open doors for female investors/ founders. She is part of Findervest App, a platform where startups meet investors that aim to bring the important value of having new layer that focuses of female investors and female founders for fundraising and mentorship, full dedicated layer for mentorship and connections for female investors and female founders to connect on a global scale.
