Bjoern Avemark
Head of Portfolio Management & Business Development
Daimler Mobility Services

Bjoern Avemark, is leading the Portfolio Management team of Daimler Mobility Services. He is responsible to create, manage and leverage an investment portfolio of businesses. A Berlin native, Bjoern has spent most of his career away from his homeland. After some years in consulting he started with Daimler Japan in 2006. Since then he accumulated around 10 years of experience in North East Asia including a two and half year stint in Korea before moving to China in 2012. He worked in the fields of Business Development, Strategy, Operations, Mobility Services and Venture building. With this he brings a broad perspective to his current role having witnessed first-hand the challenges in established markets, as well as the monumental growth and dynamics of the Asian mobility- & tech sector. In 2018 he returned back to Berlin with his wife and 2 daughters. He holds an MBA in Finance, and a diploma in Business Administration with a focus on IT. He spends his spare time with his family.
