Conference

Disrupt Asia 2025

Sri Lanka's No.1 Tech & Innovation Summit

is Sri Lanka's premier tech and innovation conference, where visionaries, investors, and disruptors come together to showcase Sri Lanka as South Asia's epicentre for cross-border collaboration.

With dedicated tracks in fintech, AI/ML applications, cybersecurity solutions, and digital public infrastructure (DPI), investors gain deep insights into sector-specific opportunities while connecting with local founders and fellow investors. Through curated matchmaking sessions and structured networking, participants can explore investment opportunities across South Asia's most promising growth sectors, with a particular focus on cross-border digital solutions and emerging technologies.

South Asia's Emerging Financial Gateway

Step into Port City Colombo, Sri Lanka's ground-breaking special economic zone that's reshaping South Asia's investment  and trading landscape. This newly established financial hub, built on reclaimed land adjacent to Colombo's business district, offers unprecedented advantages for international investors: 25-year tax holidays, modern infrastructure, and strategic positioning for South Asian market access. As the first wave of international businesses enters this tax-free zone in 2025, our delegation provides exclusive insights into Port City's investment frameworks, direct access to key decision-makers, and first-mover opportunities in Asia's newest financial center. With zero registered VCs in Colombo and Port City's attractive incentives launching in 2025, the timing for strategic investment positioning is optimal.

Strategical Highlights

Strategic Hub at South Asia's Crossroads

Sri Lanka's unique position as a neutral gateway to South Asia creates unprecedented opportunities for international investors. As the only South Asian nation maintaining positive relations with all regional powers - India, Pakistan, China, and Nepal - it offers unparalleled advantages for establishing South Asian headquarters operations. Situated on the maritime highway between Europe, Africa, and Asia, and anchored by Colombo's world-class port infrastructure, Sri Lanka provides strategic access to a market of over 2 billion consumers. The country's highly educated workforce, product of a free education system, has already attracted German manufacturing leaders like Continental and Bayer, particularly in high-precision industries. Now, with Port City Colombo opening its doors to international investors, Sri Lanka is transforming from a regional trade hub into a global financial and business center, offering tax-free operations and modern infrastructure for international businesses seeking strategic positioning in South Asia.

From Recovery to International Investment Hub

Sri Lanka has emerged from its historical challenges and is now on the way to a new era of stability and international openness. The nation has demonstrated remarkable resilience, with conflicts definitively resolved (since 2022) and a unified government focused on economic transformation. Sri Lanka has embarked on an ambitious infrastructure development program, particularly in the previously underserved northern and eastern regions, unlocking access to untapped markets and skilled workforce pools. Unanimous commitment to international engagement and economic reforms signals a decisive shift toward global integration. Through Ambassador Manori Unambuwe's strong network within the ecosystem, our delegation will gain rare high-level introductions to key decision-makers, offering investors a unique opportunity to engage with Sri Lanka's leadership at a pivotal moment in its economic transformation. This combination of political stability, infrastructure development, and privileged access creates an unprecedented window for strategic investment positioning.
