Mr. Takao Imafuku is Minister at the Embassy of Japan in Germany since August 2019. His current responsibilities include research on German fiscal policy, economic policy and various other policies, as well as supporting the strengthening of Japanese-German relations in political, economic and cultural matters. He has a BA in Law from Hitotsubashi University in Japan. He started his diplomatic career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1993. Since then he has been involved in development assistance policy, the US-Japan Security Treaty and space policy, in addition to his work at the Austrian Embassy.
We want to deepen our focus on the Berlin and Asia startup ecosystems and hence we are initiating community partnerships with ecosystem players in both regions. The idea is to support each other for cross-promotion on various communication channels and generally establish a relationship for long term collaboration so our existing AsiaBerlin community can be of help to our community partners in Asia as well.
