Managing Partner, Unifier Ventures
Miguel is a VC who spent his early career leading corporate and investment banking deals for HSBC and ANZ. After his banking stints, he co-founded a game design studio, which quickly led him down the path of venture capital and angel investments. In 2013, he joined Novel Capital, a multi-family office with headquarters in Manila, Philippines, leading the foray into private equity, venture capital, and advisory while growing the portfolio from 10 to 60 companies. Since 2017, he has been based in Germany to invest in and advise European technology startups looking to internationalize and scale in Southeast Asia. He is a mentor for the Berlin Founders Fund and an ambassador for both the AsiaBerlin network and the German Accelerator program.
