Janie Yu is a founding partner at LFX Venture Partners, a venture fund focused on investing in retail supply chain and logistics. Formerly known as Fung Capital, LFX Venture Partners is anchored by Li & Fung, a leading supply chain and logistics solution provider for the retail industry. Janie and her team leverage their deep domain knowledge and extensive industry network in supply chain to identify investment targets and drive value to portfolio companies. The fund’s focus is disruptive technologies and innovative business models in supply chain and logistics. Current portfolio companies include RPA Labs, Flamingo, Flow and Tulip. Past investments include Celect, Centric, Narvar, GTNexus, ecVision, to name a few. Prior to joining Fung Capital, Janie was with Burt’s Bees, focusing on driving international growth. Before starting her business career, she was a journalist for BBC and PRI’s “The World”, reporting in China. Janie obtained her M.A. degree from Harvard University, where she received the prestigious Fung Fellowship, sponsored by the Victor and William Fung Foundation. Janie grew up in China and received her B.A. in journalism from Communications University of China, graduating with first-class honor.
