After completing a dual study program – combining theory with practice in business organizations – at DHBW Mannheim, Aimie-Sarah Carstensen kick-started her career at Axel Springer SE and Bertelsmann, where she led a team of 25 people at the age of 25. Together with David Neisinger, she founded ArtNight in 2016, an event concept for evenings full of art and creative exchanges. In addition to building ArtNight, the development of formats such as BakeNight, ShakeNight and PlantNight have followed in recent years, bringing people together around baking, cocktail and planting workshops. In the midst of her business ventures, Aimie has always put a strong focus on the subject of leadership and female empowerment.
We want to deepen our focus on the Berlin and Asia startup ecosystems and hence we are initiating community partnerships with ecosystem players in both regions. The idea is to support each other for cross-promotion on various communication channels and generally establish a relationship for long term collaboration so our existing AsiaBerlin community can be of help to our community partners in Asia as well.
