About this event
Berchain BlockChain Summit, curated and brought by BerChain e.V as a part of AsiaBerlin Summit 2021 is a day-long summit focused on discussions and creating insights on business and tech in blockchain. For our first edition, we are bringing highly curated participants discussing the latest trends in the blockchain space to spark in-depth discussion on blockchain technology as well as cooperation between Asian and Berlin Blockchain Ecosystems. In today’s world, it is the responsibility of economic officials to regulate anything associated with value transfer and exchange. DLT’s first applications that are primarily attached to asset tokenization have attracted the EU’s financial regulator’s attention. But after more than 10 years of cryptocurrencies existence, it seems governments are still struggling to pin down fundamental issues such as provision of a precise definition of virtual currencies and tokens in general. This panel aims to frame the current status of regulations: developments and challenges in Asia and EU and an overview of Entrepreneurship Opportunities and challenges: adoption, emerging markets, regulations.
