The AsiaBerlin Summit was initiated in 1997 as the Asia-Pacific Weeks Berlin (APW) by the Governing Mayor and is an international trademark for cooperation with the Asian growth regions.

Urban Mobility Berlin India (UMBI I)
Connecting German and Indian innovators to tackle climate-friendly urban mobility challenges in Bengaluru — freight, gender-inclusive transit, and hydrogen vehicles.

Urban Mobility Berlin India (UMBI II)
The second phase of UMBI — bridging Berlin and Indian urban mobility innovators with a focus on enabling European companies to enter the Indian market and vice versa, through coaching, mentorship and on-ground visits.

Delegation Trips
Your gateway to Asia. Curated trips connect Berlin’s startup and tech ecosystem with Singapore, Manila, Jakarta, Delhi, Bangalore, Tokyo, Beijing, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong — enabling direct cooperation, B2B meetings, pitch events, and ecosystem tours. Implemented by enpact with Berlin Senate support.

Female Entrepreneurship in Berlin and India (FEBI)
The Female Entrepreneurship in Berlin and India (FEBI) ran from 2018 to 2020 and later came under the wing of the Berlin Lad Program initiated by AsiaBerlin. FEBI was started to support the development and growth of women-led companies in both regions through networking, training, and delegation trips.

Smart Change Jakarta
Promoted good governance and sustainable urban development in Jakarta under the 2030 SDGs via the Jakarta–Berlin city partnership with Bangkok. Two pillars: governance reform and entrepreneurship & innovation — implemented by SenWEB and enpact.
