Are you an early-stage founder or an already experienced entrepreneur? Get the chance to join the  Pitch Session at AsiaBerlin Summit on Tuesday, September 22 from 5.30 pm – 6.30 pm. You will have four minutes of pitch time on stage and an additional follow-up Q&A slot.

Meet the Jury for the startup pitches

 

Naoyoshi Yoneyama, Managing Director, SBI Holdings, Berlin GmbH

 

SBI Group – (one of the largest Japanese startup investors) announced an investment of 200 million euros in the joint Venture Fund together with Redstone Digital GmbH, in order to contribute to being a part of the startup ecosystem in Berlin, Germany as well as Europe, focusing on “Industry 4.0” sectors.

 

 

Tobias Szarowicz, Investment Manager, Sunbo Angel Partners

 

Tobias Szarowicz

Entrepreneurial minded lawyer, networker, and digital enthusiast, who loves building new things and breaking new ground: Tobias has been active in the Berlin startup scene for more than 10 years. He helped build up the German Startups Association and co-founded a machine vision classifier, to link locations with emotions. Later he managed one of Berlin’s first coworking spaces/startup hubs – The Place, formerly Rainmaking Loft Berlin. This resulted in the sale to a real estate company just before the pandemic lockdown. Since then, he has been active as an Investor at Sunbo Angel Partners.

 

Fabian Leipelt, Principal, WestTech Ventures

 

Fabian Leipelt

Fabian is a Principal at WestTech Ventures, a pre-seed and seed-stage Venture Capitalist in Berlin focused on investing in B2B SaaS and Enterprise Software startups as well as Mobility and New Work. He graduated from the University of Leipzig and gathered experience working for Groupon in Germany and Australia.
