Fun Fact: Germany is both Singapore’s and Indonesia’s biggest trading partner in Europe. The two ASEAN countries are among the fastest-growing startup ecosystems in the world, presenting an environment ideal for businesses to break into the Southeast Asian region. It is for this reason that AsiaBerlin’s second delegation trip of 2022 was to Singapore and Indonesia, from 24th to 31st October 2022. The cohort of eight startups visited relevant ecosystem players in the Southeast Asian market.

AsiaBerlin’s delegates got the opportunity to explore the Southeast Asian market with direct assistance from both national and local governments as the trip facilitated exchange and networking between founders and the two countries’ startup ecosystems.
