Are you a woman founder in the field of Industry 4.0 or IoT in India interested in the German market? We have the perfect event for you.

In partnership with enpact and GIZ, we are organizing a virtual delegation trip to Berlin and the AsiaBerlin Summit. To create a valuable experience, we limit the number to 20 selected participants. From the comfort of your home country, you could join to experience the Berlin startup scene between 18-25 September.

Last year we hosted 10 women founders from all over India in Berlin during the Asia Berlin Summit (formerly Asia-Pacific Week). They got to know what it takes to enter the German market, got feedback on their business model from the VCs and networked, networked, and networked. This time, it can be you!

While international travel restrictions are preventing us from inviting you to Berlin in person, we’d like to move the conversation online. Every day you’ll attend 2-3 hours of meetings with business associations, startups, corporates, and discuss peculiarities of B2B sales, legal setup, debate with industry leaders, and network at the AsiaBerlin Summit.

Apply by 1 August, 2020!

What is FEBI?

The aim of the project ( is to strengthen networks of women-led companies in Berlin and India by exchanging experiences and to further develop programs to support female founders. German and Indian founders, as well as supporting institutions (accelerators, incubators, non-governmental organizations), will be invited to take part in the delegation trips to India and Berlin (in the context of the Asia berlin Summit 2020) and a Program Designers’ Lab, a capacity-building program aiming to increase the number of women-led businesses in the accelerator cohorts.

“With this project, we are further boosting the international network between Berlin and India with a focus on female founders. For some years, we have been promoting female entrepreneurship and helping women to start and work in the digital, tech and media industries. We want to further expand these activities and make them sustainable in the long term.”

Berlin Senator for EconomicsRamona Pop

The project is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) in the framework of the German Government and Federal State Programme (BLP) and the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises, in the framework of StartUp AsiaBerlin (SUAB). It runs in cooperation with the GIZ project “Economic Empowerment of Women Entrepreneurs and Startups by Women” in India, the GIZ Regional Office in Berlin, and enpact e.V.
