AsiaBerlin Summit 2021 Recap

Event Summary

AsiaBerlin Summit 2021 marked the 24th edition of AsiaBerlin’s flagship conference, bringing Berlin and Asia’s innovation communities together for five days of hybrid conference programming across both in-person and online formats.

ABS 2021 was the first edition to return to significant in-person programming after the pandemic, combining offline events in Berlin with a robust online stream for global participants. Structured around five focus tracks — FinTech, Female Entrepreneurship & Diversity, Smart City / GreenTech / Climate Change, Internationalization, and Social Entrepreneurship — the summit brought together startups, investors, corporates, and government institutions to break down cultural barriers and build bridges between the Asian and Berlin startup ecosystems. With 2,700+ total participants and 366 speakers, ABS 2021 marked a significant scale-up from the previous year.
