Naoyoshi Yoneyama is the managing director of the subsidiary of SBI Holdings, Inc., in Berlin, which he established in 2019. This April 2020 SBI launched Joint Venture Fund together with Redstone Digital GmbH, in order to contribute to being a part of the Start-Up ecosystem in Berlin, Germany as well as Europe, focusing on the so-called “Industry 4.0” sectors. He is an economist and consultant for small and medium-sized companies, including digital startups, and supports the internationalization of the company to Asia and Japan. He is also an external supervisory board member of European startups in Fintech and Insuretech space. He started his professional career with a Japanese diplomat and worked in Vienna and Düsseldorf and in 2018 joined SBI Group. During the SBI Investment period, he was involved in the core deal flow of the investment in the existing SBI Portfolios in Europe. He graduated from RWTH Aachen, M.A. in European studies.
