Florian Moder is working as IT-Partner for the Asia, Pacific, Latin American, and the Caribbean Department in GIZ. He supports in this role the department in addressing the digital transformation requirements through projects implemented in the region. He was working before for 4 years in India for GIZ, by establishing a knowledge network for small scale farmers in India. It is self-explanatory that this project applied state of the art digital technologies to address the impacts of climate change. Prior this assignment he worked on behalf of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in his major, Geoinformatics, on implementing an integrated water information system in the Mekong Delta in Vietnam, applying state of the art remote sensing technologies.
