Boris runs the European business for design firm Goodpatch and serves as Executive Board Director at the HQ in Tokyo. As one of the early members of Goodpatch in Tokyo, he helped grow the team to a size of 200 designers and developers. The company went public at the Tokyo Stock Exchange in mid-2020. In May 2015, he moved back to Germany after 3 years in Tokyo to open the Berlin and München studios. Before joining Goodpatch, Boris helped run Stanford University’s joint Master’s program ME310 with the University of St.Gallen. Boris holds a Master’s degree in Media Design from Keio University, Japan and a CEMS Master’s degree in International Management from the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland. Already during his studies, Boris has once co-founded a design company that developed a patented snowboard binding and was sold to Head Snowboards. His expertise lies in building products and teams.
